About Us
True Haven Church started in 1992 under the leadership of Rick & Dianne Aitken. They believed that God called them to provide a new fresh approach for people to discover the heart of God and make their lives rich, relevant and vital in Christ.
The church is part of the Apostolic Church Australia, a growing Pentecostal denomination worldwide.
Our Core Belief: The love of Christ is ther power that transforms lives.
Some Values We Hold Important:
1. Jesus Christ brings confidence and joy to life. Jesus is the complete solution to our restlessness and hunger for meaning. He alone is the haven in which we find our identity, security and purpose.
2. Life is to be lived. Life comes through a rich relationship with God as Father. We want people to really experience God and have this based on true Biblical teaching. The Holy Spirit guides us and communicates with us. He works with his mighty power within us.
3. The grace and love of Christ is available to all people. His death on the cross was his demonstration of this. The heart of God and the doors of church are open to all people. Christ is at work transforming people to live as they have never lived before.
4. The church is the place for each to grow and also to contribute to other people in our community and our world. He wants us to develop us to the full potential of our lives.
